CharterEdge ("the app") is a practice quiz app for CFA Level I, II, and III candidates. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the app uses and how it is handled.
CharterEdge is an independent study aid developed by Sash Ventures LLC and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by CFA Institute. CFA® and Chartered Financial Analyst® are registered trademarks owned by CFA Institute.
CharterEdge does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Specifically:
All quiz activity — session results, scores, streaks, topic performance, and app settings — is stored exclusively on your device. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to Sash Ventures LLC or anyone else.
CharterEdge offers an optional Pro subscription and one-time level unlocks, processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play (depending on your device) using RevenueCat, a subscription management service. RevenueCat may process device identifiers and purchase/receipt data solely to validate purchases and restore entitlements — Sash Ventures LLC does not receive or store your payment information. RevenueCat's privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
The app may send optional local notifications (such as a daily practice question reminder). These are generated on-device and do not involve any server communication. You can disable them at any time in your device's notification settings for CharterEdge.
CharterEdge is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy occasionally. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
